Neil Sykes
Building Director
Our most experienced Site Manager. Neil has successfully delivered multiple schemes at John Whitgift Academy over the last 2.5 years. Holding over 30 years experience in the building and groundworks sector, his knowledge is unsurpassed in building, often offering design solutions to architects. Neil runs a very clean and safe site and achieving his SMSTS qualification nearly 4 years ago with his first aid being renewed last year. Training: Asbestos Duty to Manage, CDM, SMSTS, IOSH and First Aid.
Gary Newman
Mechanical Director
Gary oversees the Mechanical Team with his extensive knowledge of everything mechanical gives Redbrick a great USP. Designing and installing everything gas, AC, HRU’s, heat pumps, extraction, ventilation, radiant heat and plumbing related. Gary is a perfectionist within his work and is often called on to work outside of the mechanical world just for his attention to detail.

Richard Widdowson
Electrical Director
Richard runs our inhouse Electrical Team and is the named qualifying Supervisor for our NICEIC accreditation. Richard oversees anything with a wire connected to it! Being Paxton trained Richard, and his team deliver a wide variety of installations without the need for sub-contractors.
Training: Asbestos Duty to Manage, CDM, SMSTS, IOSH and First Aid.
Chris Reay
Contracts Manager
Chris has been part of the team for 10 years. Chris has spent the last 8 years working closely with David Yeadon Ltd delivering school projects ranging from £20k- £3.8m over a variety of schools, trusts and colleges. Works range from damp proofing, fire door installs, new mechanical plant, large scale toilet make overs, swimming pools and full turnkey projects delivering to an exceptional standard. Previous employment history has been with large blue chip construction companies delivering projects and builds for Sainsburys, Tesco, Lidl, RBS, Natwest, Post Office and many more.
Training: Asbestos Duty to Manage, CDM, SMSTS, IOSH and First Aid.
Amy Findley
Project Manager
Amy Joined Redbrick over three years ago. Amy has previously worked as the Estate Manager for a Wakefield based Academy Trust.
A Business Coordinator for the National Trust and a School Business Manager for local authority based schools as well as Academy Trusts.
Having worked as a School Business Manager for 18 years, leading on Health & Safety, Premises Management, Finance and HR. Focusing her wealth of experience of organisation, planning and communication skills, Amy has a great handle organising the team and liaising with the client.
Training: Asbestos, CDM Regulations, IOSH and First Aid.
Leanne Moulson
Project Support
Leanne joined the team in 2021. Predominantly leading the procurement side of the business. Additionally, assists in organising the day-to-day schedule of the staff. Leanne has previously held positions within the construction sector prior to joining Redbrick and in addition worked in education for 15 years. Key knowledge Leanne holds of safe-guarding and school polices is a real asset.
Helen Wright
Accounts Manager
Helen has a wealth of experience and has been a valued part of the team for 10 years. Leading on all financial matters Helen is our key contact for support.
